Individual Psychotherapy

At times it can be very difficult to put into words our experiences, thoughts, and feelings.

 A psychological evaluation can uncover underlying cognitive difficulties, emotions, motivations, and conflicts that we may not be fully aware of affecting our quality of life. As such, it gives us a more accurate understanding of ourselves, a coherent narrative about our inner working mind, and a road map for making effective changes. Using a comprehensive approach whereby we examine the complexity of the whole person in order to understand a client’s psychological functioning. The strength of our approach allows us to uncover psychological difficulties, even if they are masked by other problems, and to understand them and the complex manner in which they interact. We are therefore able to explain in simple language difficult problems and ensure that nothing is missed in the process of understanding them. This multimethod approach is the foundation of our assessment successes. Our clients feel understood and in control of what they need to do in order to achieve psychological well-being.

Psychological coaching is a process that aims to help clients achieve concrete goals, identify and overcome obstacles to well-being and performance, and build skills that may be interfering with their success. Coaching is specific, goal-oriented, and can be conducted one-on-one or in a group. Psychological coaching concentrates on individual or group strengths and abilities and how they might be used in new and different ways to enhance performance, feel better about the self, ensure smooth life transitions, strengthen relationships, deal with challenges, achieve goals, become more successful, or improve the overall quality of one’s personal and professional life.
